1. Where the money comes from
Approximate share of annual gross revenue across all active channels. Figures are rounded estimates and shift month to month.
Twitch Subs & Bits
30%Tier 1/2/3 channel subscriptions and Bit cheers. Twitch takes a 30-50% platform cut before the streamer is paid.
Ko-fi Tips & Memberships
20%One-time tips and monthly Ko-fi subscriptions. Ko-fi keeps 0% on tips and 5% on memberships.
Official Merch (Fourthwall)
18%Fourthwall handles printing, fulfillment, and shipping. Profit per unit is the markup above base cost.
Sponsored Streams & Brand Deals
17%Always disclosed in stream and on-screen. We only accept brands the community would actually use.
Affiliate & Referral Links
8%Disclosed wherever they appear. Susshimei may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.
YouTube Ads & VOD Revenue
7%AdSense revenue from uploaded VODs and shorts after YouTube's standard 45% cut.
2. Where the money goes
For every $100 of net revenue (after platform cuts), here's the breakdown.
Streamer Paycheck
40%Rent, groceries, health insurance, and being able to do this full-time without burning out.
Production & Gear
25%Cameras, lighting, audio, PC upgrades, capture cards, editing software, and replacements when things break.
Taxes & Business Costs
15%Quarterly estimated taxes, accountant fees, business filings, and platform processing fees.
Savings & Emergency Fund
10%Streaming income is inconsistent. A buffer keeps the lights on between slow months.
Community & Giveaways
5%Sub-a-thon prizes, holiday giveaways, viewer mail-outs, and Discord nitro gifts.
Charity
5%A fixed 5% of net annual revenue is donated to a community-voted charity each December.
3. Our promises to viewers
The rules we hold ourselves to, no exceptions.
Disclosure first
Sponsored content is labeled on stream, in chat, and in the video description. Affiliate links carry an #ad or #affiliate tag.
No predatory monetization
We never run gambling sponsorships, NFT promos, get-rich-quick schemes, or pay-to-talk schemes that exploit viewers.
Refunds & cancellations
Cancel Ko-fi subscriptions at any time directly from your Ko-fi account. Tips are non-refundable except where required by law.
Minors
If you are under 18, please get permission from a parent or guardian before subscribing, tipping, or buying merch.
Data & privacy
Susshimei does not store your payment data. All transactions are handled by Twitch, Ko-fi, Fourthwall, or YouTube respectively.
Editorial independence
Sponsors do not get to script content, dictate opinions, or veto criticism. Every review is an honest one.
